Everything went as planned.Driver and guides were professional. The hotels were ok, except in Ho Chi Minh City where the room was very small. Rooms were all clean and the hotel staff very nice and friendly. The people in the three countries are very friendly and helpful, and the society is very safe. We wanted to travel with our own driver and guide to avoid standing and waiting in line and to be able to adapt the programme as we are going along. The guides are very knowledgeable and full of stories and legends of the past. We told them when we got enough of temples and stories.
Thoughts and ideas for the future: inform more about the countries today and may be offer to see some industries. We saw Samsung’s main industrial area close to Hanoi. A visit to there plant would have been very interesting. Visit to a local administration to hear about status and plans for development of the society could also be very interesting.
Again, thank you very much and we have already recommended a visit to Indochina to our friends.
